Carol holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education degree from the University of Saint Mary and a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University. She is the author of Lincoln and Kansas (2001) Sunflower University Press and has written numerous articles and editorials. Carol attends High Prairie Church and lives with her husband in Leavenworth, Kansas.
